Some stuff . . .

I got some coils for the 7. After chasing a random misfire and finding the coil on Cyl #5 pooched, the 7 is running GREAT!! Yea, I still have to add LUBEGARD® Dr. Tranny INSTANT SHUDDER FIXX and get some suspension stuff for the ole girl.

The 530i is running pretty good with the new engine temp sensor. No check engine lights but the ECU is still having a slight issue with cold starts. It takes a second or even third turn of the key to start, but once she fires to life all is good. I took it to Augusta to pick up that piece of T-5 transmission and she drove VERY well. Mrs. Zero has been testing it out in DD mode and issued no complaints (it does have heated seats).

Kaaaa-boom . . . again

Thanks to FleBay, I scored a SN95 specific bellhousing for my T-5. I gotta get my shop lights wired up this weekend for the ensuing garage thrash . . .

The 740i and 530i are done for this round of maintenance.

For the 7, I added a radiator to the list. BMW cooling systems SHOULD be counted as yearly maintenance items due to the large amount of plastic in the system. Since the radiator was last replaced in the 2004, along with water pump, I decided to replace it; and for $130 bucks, it was a no brainer.

The 5 is idling EXTREMELY well with the new temp sensor. The one I pulled was trashed . . . not sure why.

Checked for codes and both cars had not code or leaks (YAY!!). Time to take them out on the Interstate and test them. Mrs. Zero will be happy to have her 7 back (still have to do the transmission additive and suspension stuffs).

I picked up a F-Body oil pan, pickup, gasket, bolts and windage tray for the 4.8L.

Also got a shipment from my favorite parts supplier BMA Parts for the 740i.

I also have to add LUBEGARD® Dr. Tranny INSTANT SHUDDER FIXX (I know that doesn't sound right) since the torque converter is still shuddering (lock-unlock-lock-unlock).

2. Clutch Reservoir Cap
3. Water Pump Pulley
4. Fan Shroud and bits
5. Various screws and crap

I have to find a 5.0 bellhousing for the T-5 I picked up last week and come up with clutch release solution since the SN95 bellhousings have the release fork at a VERY weird angle.
